LiberarLa

Have you ever felt confined? Shackled and burden by what society has told women to be? Felt hindered by social constructs when it comes to following your dreams? Well baby girl, you are not alone.

You see, years ago when I came to the realization that our society wants women to play small, I was just not buying it. I once heard a wise woman say “I want to set the example that it is possible. It’s possible for us (young women) to own our own businesses, and, sometimes we don’t reach for the stars. Sometimes we’re satisfied with what people tell us we’re supposed to be satisfied with, and I’m just not going for it… Nothing feels like when I’m respected, like when I see I’m changing peoples lives… At this point in my life, that’s what I’m striving for… Growth, Love, Happiness. Just enjoy life, it’s short!” Hearing this inspired me to follow my happiness, my passion…

So, I’m stepping forth with similar aspirations – to show the women in my lifetime that it is OKAY to shoot for the moon, that it is OKAY to break out of what you know, that it is OKAY to be you mamacita. My goal is to empower the beautiful women of this earth to believe in themselves, to believe that they can run the world.
