3/2 | Harriet Tubman

On this second day of women’s history month, we’d like to acknowledge a person whom helped others receive their freedom… Ms Harriet Tubman was known for not only escaping to her own freedom but also for helping others escape to their freedom. Tubman spent her life after freedom leading hundreds of slaves to freedom through the Underground Railroad.

Though she didn’t operate alone, Tubman is notorious for her bravery in helping her others escape, as she could have chosen to just run for herself, yet she continuously risked her life helping others.

It is woman like Tubman that make some of the biggest impacts in this world as her courage, bravery, and sacrifice has never been taken lightly.

“She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future.” Proverbs 31:25

I hope Tubman’s story reminds fellow woman warriors that you have the ability to help others regardless your circumstances.

Sincerely,

Alex James
